Busy Hands
Well graduation has come and gone, it was a glorious time and a wonderful weekend. Today I've been cleaning and organizing closets, rooms and shelves to try to make room to move back into the house. I get shelving!! Yay for shelving!

Busy Mind
Crafting has had to take a back burner to school work currently, but on the upside, 24 days till graduation! Sarah (my twin sister and other half) just opened her shop full of eco-friendly projects made from recycled soda can tabs, destash and reclaimed yarn, vintage fabric, etc. Check her out if you have time!

And It continues
Wound the spools from goodwill into skeins to check for weak spots and breaks in the yarn! The result was pretty amazing!
Oh yeah, and I kicked butt on a Poultry Exam! Good day all around!

Goodwill find
I did warn you that I was distracted.... yesterday I skeined, soaked and hung what used to be a teal wool sweater. I also happened to get lucky at goodwill! I found several bags of vintage wool and laceweight cotton yarn. The wool is in beautiful colors and textures. They are still on their original spools and have makers marks and stickers inside. I also found a bag of spools of ribbon for $2, I use the ribbon to attach info cards to my skeins of yarn, so all in all it was an excellent find!

And so It Begins
Because my life just isn't busy enough... lets add more! To celebrate Earth Day I will spend the evening deconstructing sweaters, I get great joy from the ripping and unraveling, It makes the hoarder in me happy to see piles of new yarn. And I still get that kick every time one of my skeins of yarn sells! Tonight's project: Turn this basket of yarn into skeins...
